Autumn Walking Fortnight

Building up to our 2 week festival of walking our beautiful island commencing on Monday 12th September

Bring on the continued glorious summer weather!

Beautiful Grouville

Thank you my clients yesterday for our lovely walk around Grouville. Extra special seeing the Grouville Battle of Flowers Float in frantic preperation for the Battle of Flowers parade today – good luck to Nick Parlett and all his team

Breathtaking St Ouen’s Bay

Thank you my repeat clients for a lovely stroll around the Sand Dunes on Sunday and the added bonus of watching the para glider land by the Millennium menhir!

It’s strange that St Ouen’s Bay straddles 3 parishes – St Ouen – St Peter and St Brelade!

Lt. Governor’s Last Parish Walk

Yesterday saw the Lt Governor, Sir John & Lady McColl take their last Parish Walk from the Town Church to Elizabeth Castle followed by supper in the Town Hall. The weather dampened the numbers for our co-walkers on the St Helier’s Day Pilgrimage to the castle. However the rain cleared and we had a great walk with 5 Blue Badge Guides leading various groups and five of our Parish Constables from St Helier St Ouen, St Lawrence, Trinity and Grouville. A great afternoon out!
